|Products/Services Offering||:||The revolution in electronic commerce and communications continues. The Internet is filled with digital color images and documents. Corporate offices expect colorful presentations and persuasive proposals. Graphic design and creative professionals keep raising their standards for accurate, consistent color. And print-for-pay services are always looking for new technologies to give them a competitive edge. |
From the first Fiery print controller, Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFI) has set the pace for delivering high-quality, short-run color and black and white digital printing solutions. Efi Arazi, founder of Scitex, founded EFI in 1989. In 1991, EFI introduced Fiery color servers, transforming standard digital color copiers into networked color printers for brilliant, photographic-quality images at an affordable price. Today, over one million EFI print controllers have been sold and installed in leading corporations, advertising agencies, graphic design studios and print-for-pay businesses around the world.
In addition to EFI’s core server and controller business, EFI has diversified into new markets and distribution channels by developing and acquiring software solutions for the commercial printing and enterprise markets. EFI’s solutions range from job submission to proofing, pre-press, output and print MIS. Our software products and services help customers automate their print processes and streamlining their workflow to increase productivity and profits. Our strategy is to offer best of breed, end-to-end solutions that are interoperable and conform to open standards to allow customers to choose the most efficient solutions for their business.
